I went on a quick trip to Port Douglas with my small family shortly before the borders between NSW and Queensland were closed during the first wave of COVID in Australia. We stayed in a gorgeous, gated community with stunning gardens which made our family time together even more special. 'Pondering' represents how grateful I am for my family and the simple joy nature brings me in a chaotic world.
