Being from Africa, I was fortunate to observe a variety of wildlife on my bushland trips. Lions were among my favourite animals to see (otherwise known as 'Tau' in Zulu - an African native language). Female lionesses in particular are strong yet graceful predators - their muscular tone conveys this fierce and formidable energy. I've captured this essence in this artwork using bold, angled brushstrokes and highly contrasted shading.

International orders cannot be framed and are shipped in a tube.
